Design your SINGLE page newsletter in Print Shop's (or PrintMaster's) web project. **Only use browser-safe fonts.** If you use fonts that are not installed on the recipient's computer, font substitutions will be made with the worst result being that the text no longer fits in the text box.
Preview the web project. Remember, this will be going into the e-mail message so you don't want this page to be the full width of the screen which may force the recipient to scroll left to right. Very annoying.
If all looks fine, Publish to Folder. To make this simple, let's save to a flash drive (a.k.a. thumb drive or USB stick) so the files are easy to find, with a very short address location. So let's say your flash drive is designated as "J" drive. Here are your files:
J:\index.html
J:\img0000.jpg
J:\img0001.gif
etc.
Right-click index.html and open with NotePad.
Edit| Replace...
Save.
Select all and copy. Your "web page" code is ready to be pasted into Outlook Express.
Open Outlook Express.
Create Mail.
Format| Rich text (HTML)
Click the Source tab at the bottom to display the HTML code.
Delete all this code. Paste in the code for your "web page".
Click the Edit tab.
Send it.
**warning** You can't know for certain that your recipient's e-mail program fully supports HTML code so all your images could end up displaying as separate files and your text will not show formatting!
Uploading a webpage to a web server and sending a link to your recipients can guarantee that your newsletter will display as planned.
