Windows NT 4 - Phonebook Entry Wizard
  1. My Computer

    First, double-click My Computer on your desktop.



  2. Dial-up Networking

    Double-click on Dial-up Networking.



  3. Make New Connection

    Double-click on Make New Connection.



  4. Connection name

    This will start the Phonebook Entry Wizard. Type porchlight.ca for the connection name and click Next to proceed.



  5. Server options

    Uncheck the third option which says "The non-Windows NT server that I am calling...".  The other two options should be checked.



    Click Next to proceed.


  6. The dial-up access number

    Now enter the ten digit dial-up access number into the Phone number box.  Use the number for the city that you are local to.  These are listed in a table below.

    Click Next to proceed.

  7. Finish

    Now click on Finish to complete the wizard.



  8. To connect

    You can now connect by double-clicking on the newly created connection. Click the Dial button to connect.
