Windows 98 SE - Change/Confirm settings
  1. Dial-up Networking

    First click Start Programs Accessories Communications Dial-up Networking.




  2. porchlight.ca Properties

    Now right-click on your porchlight.ca connection and select Properties.




  3. Phone number

    Confirm that the ten digit dial-up access number for your local calling area is entered (these are listed in a table below) and "Use area code and Dialing Properties" is unchecked.

    Click Ok to return to the previous window.

  4. Connect porchlight.ca

    Now double-click on porchlight.ca to open the connection window.

    Ensure that your user name and password are entered and click Connect.
