Windows 2000 - Change/Confirm settings
  1. Network and Dial-up Connections

    First click Start Settings Network and Dial-up Connections.




  2. porchlight.ca Properties

    Now right-click on your porchlight.ca connection and select Properties.




  3. Phone number

    Confirm that the ten digit dial-up access number for your local calling area is entered (these are listed in a table below) and "Use dialing rules" is unchecked.

    Click Ok to return to the previous window.

  4. Connect porchlight.ca

    Now double-click on porchlight.ca to open the connection window.

    Ensure that your user name and password are entered, and click Dial to connect.
