Email Setup
Outlook 2002/XP - Change/Confirm settings
  1. Open Outlook 2000

    First open Microsoft Outlook, then select Tools E-Mail Accounts from the menu.




  2. Email Accounts

    Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and click Next.




  3. Change...

    Now highlight pop.porchlight.ca and click the Change button.




  4. Internet E-Mail Settings

    Now confirm the following:

    Incoming mail: pop.porchlight.ca
    Outgoing mail: mail.porchlight.ca

    Ensure that your porchlight.ca email address, user name, and password are entered and click More Settings.




  5. Outgoing Server

    Switch to the Outgoing Server tab and ensure that "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" is checked.

    Click Ok to return to the previous window.




  6. Finished

    If any changes were made, click Next, then Finish.  Otherwise, click Cancel.
