Email Setup
Netscape 4.x - Manual Setup
  1. Preferences

    First open Netscape.

    Click on Edit Preferences.




  2. Mail Servers

    Open the Mail & Newsgroups category and select Mail Servers.

    Click on the Add button to specify an incoming mail server.




  3. Properties

    Type pop.porchlight.ca for the Server Name and select POP3 Server.  Then enter your porchlight.ca user name.

    Click Ok to save the settings.




  4. Outgoing mail (SMTP) Server.

    Now enter mail.porchlight.ca for the Outgoing Mail Server and fill in your porchlight.ca user name.



    Netscape will ask you to supply the password the first time you send an email.

    Click Ok to finalize the preferences.
