Email Setup
Incredimail (Xe) - Setup wizard
  1. Opening the Account Wizard

    Start by opening IncrediMail.  Then click Tools, Accounts.




  2. Add account

    Click Add to being creating a new account.




  3. Account Settings

    Select the option that says "Let me configure settings myself" and click Next.




  4. Name and email address

    Now enter your name and porchlight.ca email address.  Your email address will be your user name@porchlight.ca. Click Next to proceed.




  5. Mail servers

    Type in pop.porchlight.ca for the incoming mail server, and mail.porchlight.ca for the outgoing server.  Then click Next.




  6. User name and password

    Now type in your porchlight.ca user name and password. Click Next to proceed.




  7. Congratulations

    Click Ok to finish the wizard.




  8. Enabling SMTP Authentication

    Highlight pop.porchlight.ca and click on Properties.




  9. pop.porchlight.ca properties

    Switch to the Servers tab and check "My server requires authentication". Click ok to finalize the setting.




  10. Finished

    Click close to finish the setup procedure.
